Taking care of the property

Please take care of the house as though it were your own.

Any damage, whether accidental or otherwise, must be reported as soon as possible.

Furniture, equipment, decorative items and bedding must remain in the rooms where they are located. Furniture must not be moved from one floor to another.

In the event of damage or failure to comply with these instructions, a claim for financial compensation may be made.

Pets

Pets are not permitted in the property.

If an animal is found to have been present during or after the stay, a minimum additional cleaning charge of €85 may apply, particularly where hair, odours or soiling require deep cleaning.

No smoking

The entire property is non-smoking.

Smoking and vaping are strictly prohibited inside the house. An ashtray is provided on the terrace.

Any lingering smell of cigarettes, cigars or other substances detected after departure may result in charges for additional cleaning and deodorising.

Respect for neighbours

To preserve the peace and quiet of the property and its surroundings:

• Parties, events and noisy gatherings are not permitted.
• Noise must be kept to a minimum, particularly between 10:00 PM and 8:00 AM.
• Any behaviour likely to result in complaints from neighbours or the intervention of the authorities may lead to the immediate termination of the stay without a refund.

Waste disposal

To preserve the quality of the house and its outdoor areas, please dispose of your waste regularly during your stay.

Before departure, all household waste must be taken to one of the designated public waste collection points listed in the guest guide.

The recycling bins provided inside the house may be left on site; we will empty them.

Swimming pool

Availability

The swimming pool is open from 1 May to 30 September, subject to weather conditions.

Safety

Before opening the automatic pool cover, all five safety straps must be removed. Attempting to open the cover while the straps are still attached may seriously damage the cover and/or the pool lining.

When the pool is not in use, the cover must be fully closed and all five safety straps refitted.

Climbing onto the low wall around the pool or diving from it is prohibited.

Children must remain under the constant and exclusive supervision of an adult.

Equipment

Pool equipment, including the pool cleaner and vacuum socket, must be used in accordance with the instructions provided to guests.

When children are present, the safety cap provided must be refitted whenever the pool cleaner is removed.

Please restart the pool cleaner after use to help maintain the quality of the water.

Water treatment

The pool uses a UV water-treatment system and contains neither chlorine nor salt.

Never add any products to the water. Please report any issue promptly, including algae, cloudy water, a change in colour or a malfunction of the equipment.

Use of outdoor areas

The region is regularly exposed to the Mistral and periods of strong wind.

Please:

• Use the shutter catches whenever the shutters are open.
• Group together or stack outdoor furniture after use.
• Do not leave lightweight items outside, including packaging, paper napkins or plastic bags.
• Do not leave waste or rubbish bags outside.

TV room and multimedia equipment

The TV room is equipped with Netflix and the Canal+ app, which provides access to television channels.

The screen has a matte finish that is particularly sensitive to handling and cleaning products.

Please return the remote control to its designated place before departure.

Wood-burning stove

The wood-burning stove may only be used from 1 October to 30 April.

To protect the installation, please use only the firewood provided. No other fuel, externally sourced wood, cardboard, paper or waste may be burned.

The stove door has an automatic closing mechanism. To close it correctly, open it fully and then release it gently without pushing it. It will close by itself.

Check-out

Before leaving the property, please:

• Leave the house tidy.
• Wash the dishes or start the dishwasher.
• Remove all personal belongings and food from the refrigerator.
• Take household waste to the designated public waste collection point.
• Turn off the lights and electrical appliances.
• Close all windows, doors and shutters.
• Return all remote controls to their designated places.
• Return the keys in accordance with the check-out instructions provided to guests.
